Resumen
La Gangrena de Fournier es una infección potencialmente fulminante que afecta al periné, la región perianal y/o los genitales, siendo necesario un enfoque y abordaje inicial agresivo en los servicios de urgencias para impactar positivamente la morbimortalidad. Realizamos una revisión de la literatura con énfasis en el abordaje y manejo inicial para ser aplicado en los servicios de urgencias.
