Abstract

The present study aims to determine the operational characteristics of the ATA2015 classification, in order to define behaviors that reduce overdiagnosis, unnecessary fine needle aspiration biopsies, and imaging follow-up. This, in turn, translates into a better distribution and management of resources within the Colombian healthcare system.
