Abstract
Hyponatremia has traditionally been corrected slowly to prevent neurological complications, but recent evidence suggests that faster correction may reduce in-hospital mortality and length of stay. This shift challenges existing guidelines and calls for more personalized, evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
