Abstract
The morphofunctional correlation between upper airway structures and the shape of a seahorse offers a didactic tool for radiological analysis of the laryngeal anatomy in lateral projection. This article describes how cervical radiographs can be interpreted through visual analogy with the Hippocampus, aiding the identification of key anatomical landmarks such as the epiglottis, vocal cords, hypopharynx, and trachea. The model is also relevant for clinical evaluation of conditions such as aspiration using techniques like videofluoroscopy. This visual approach is proposed as a teaching and diagnostic resource in functional anatomical assessment.
