Abstract
Liver steatosis is a very frequent pathology usually associated to obesity, diabetes mellitus, steroid use or alcoholism. Most frequently it compromises the liver diffusely and it could be easily identified by different imaging modalities. The focal presentation should be differentiated from other benign and malign entities. The MRI, especially in-phase and out-of-phase sequences, is important in the correct diagnosis. This is a case of liver focal steatosis and its appearance in the different diagnostic modalities.
