Resumen
La Gangrena de Fournier es una infección necrotizante de la región perianal con un alto índice de mortalidad. La estabilización precoz y el tratamiento quirúrgico agresivo son los pilares fundamentales para el manejo de la enfermedad. En el presente artículo se describe el caso de una mujer joven con obesidad que sufrió una Gangrena de Fournier, siendo tratada con desbridamiento quirúrgico radical, colostomía derivativa, sistema de presión negativa y nutrición enteral temprana. Así mismo, se hace una revisión de la literatura.
