Resumen
La dermatomiositis es una enfermedad autoinmune que se presenta con debilidad muscular proximal y lesiones cutáneas características. El compromiso torácico es frecuente y se reconocen tres patrones de presentación clínica (falla respiratoria por debilidad de músculos respiratorios, neumonía intersticial y neumonía por aspiración) y tres patrones histopatológicos (neumonía intersticial usual o no específica, daño alveolar difuso y neumonía criptogénica de organización). Las manifestaciones pulmonares en tomografía computada son diversas y dependen del tipo de compromiso pulmonar; incluyen áreas de consolidación, o en vidrio esmerilado, engrosamientos septales, hasta áreas de panal de abejas, en casos avanzados.
