Resumen
Los carteles de conferencias académicas son un método para comunicar la investigación académica de manera sucinta y atractiva. Se pueden crear por varias razones, entre ellas comunicar el progreso que está teniendo un proyecto de investigación, para buscar colaboradores para futuros proyectos de investigación, como una alternativa a una presentación de conferencia tradicional o para avanzar en una carrera académica. La creación de un póster proporciona al autor un registro visual agradable de su investigación, que se puede exhibir públicamente después de una conferencia. Este artículo tiene como objetivo proporcionar una descripción general del proceso de creación, diseño y presentación de carteles académicos (pósteres), caracterizando algunas herramientas y recursos que serán de utilidad para los investigadores que tengan la intención de presentar un póster académico.
